GraceLife Church follows the New Testament model of multiple, biblically qualified,
male elders for its church government structure, under the headship of Christ (Eph.
1:22; 4:12; 5:23; Col. 1:18; 2:10). By having several leaders, mutual accountability is
enhanced, and the church is more able to take on the personality of Christ rather than
the idiosyncrasies of any one man often termed “the pastor.” This type of church
leadership is based on NT scriptures, e.g. Acts 11:30; 14:23; 20:17, 28; 1st Timothy
5:17-18; Titus 1:5; James 5:14-15; 1st Peter 5:1-5. For further explanation of biblical
